Sarah and Michael meet at a seminar, while he is lecturing and presenting a thesis on Molecular Phylogenetic. She is working hard on a project that is on the verge of an incredible scientific breakthrough to find immortality, and the key to her theory is to find a walking, taking vampire to study his blood. Michael falls in love for this beautiful, intelligent woman, but knowing that his secret may scare her away, he decides to tread her carefully and woos her as a mortal. Little does she know that he is immortal and has also fallen for him, but in a moment of recklessness, he reveals all including his true love for her, and agrees to help Sarah with her project. When Sarah’s best friend Amber hears of her infatuation with a dark and brooding vampire, her internal alarm bells start ringing. She predicts only death and destruction from the relationship and moves to warn Sarah of the dangers. Amber confronts him and threatens to curse him for evermore if he harms her friend or tries to make her immortal through his bloodlust. Then Troy arrives on the scene, who shakes her to her very core. Rather than being frightened by Amber’s paranormal abilities, this new vampire is drawn to her in what becomes a destructive relationship built on mutual attraction, fear and mistrust. Troy is also stunned to find Michael besotted with a human female called Sarah. He suspects that there is something sinister behind this attraction, and pledges to investigate and get to the bottom of his master’s infatuation. Sarah is clearly in danger. But is she willing to put her life and love on the line to deliver the answer to that eternal question: Can we become immortal?
